Inlays & Onlays
Dental Inlays are equipped to fit and mold in the chewing area of your tooth that has been destroyed or damaged through an injury, decay, or other oral issues. Inlays are advised when a regular filling does not withstand the chewing forces and a crown is too much to protect a dental decay.
On the other hand, Onlays cover the edge of the tooth that has been affected by damage or decay to the cusp of your tooth.
This is an efficient dental procedure and can last up to 10-15 years. It is a conservative filling near the edges of teeth and lasts for years if maintained properly… They may pop out once in a while and can be re-attached by the dentist.
